Hi Fashion Loves,
My Day Off was a warm 72 Degrees in South Carolina so I took off to Spartanburg inorder to view Pieces of the Real Berlin Walls.
I saw a photo of the walls on Facebook from a site called Abandoned and Interesting Places in South Carolina and I was so excited and jotted it down in my Adventure Book and patiently waited to take the most intriguing adventure to date.
I just purchased my new Military Inspired Jacket from NY&Company in a nice Olive Color for this inspiring adventure. I paired my jacket with a Light Pink Blouse also from NY&Company that is lightweight and the color compliments the Olive Color of my Jacket.
The day was a comfy day so I wore my Lucky Brand Jeans I acquired at TJMaxx and my New Booties in Nude from Forever 21 with their stylish Perspex Heels. Perspex Heels are the in style that was from the Dior Spring/Summer Runway Show of 2016. My Color Scheme fit perfectly with the Burgundy Fuzzy Crossbody from Forever 21 the Crossbody is large enough to hold a wallet and other items needed. The Burgundy Fuzzy Crossbody is in style and is affordable compared to the Fendi Fuzzy Handbags in all the designer magazines.
My New York and Company Military Inspired Jacket just seemed to be the perfect symbol for the Adventure to Menzel Manufacturing one of the oldest foreign companies in South Carolina. According to an Article written in the Washington Times Gerhard Menzel says the walls represents "Both Oppression and Freedom". Hans Menzel of German decent partnered with another german company and in 1991 and had Pieces of The Berlin Walls shipped to the US with machinery parts. The Berlin Walls were placed infront of his company with everyone to understand what Freedom really means.
Menzel Inc owner Gerhard Menzel was partiscipating in a 1965 Trade Show in Atlantic City when he encountered Roger Milliken who was so impressed with the displays of Menzel that he purchased all of the equipment. Roger Milliken's only requirement was Gerhard Menzel would have to pick up his Check in Spartanburg SC.
Menzel fell in love with the area and relocated his plant to Spartanburg with the future of we Americans ability to actually see Pieces of The Berlin Walls within our reach.
My ability to view The Berlin Walls was heartwrenching when I say the faint graffiti of the USA written on a piece of the wall.... Those oppressed individuals Loved and was Crying out to the USA.... Even the toughest individuals had to feel something to see this... The Graffiti of the USA just sent my mind and heart into such an appreciation and such a Love for Individuals who are Not Born Here and love us so and appreciate the opportunities to flourish.
There are plenty of Americans that don't love this country who live off the hard working people so how do we decide who and who shouldn't live here. The Menzel Manufacturing Company who supplies us with jobs and history we would have never seen because Roger Milliken appreciated what he had to offer and The USA invited him to live here. I guess that is why I am not a politican.
After the passing of Gerhard Menzel his son Hans has taken over the operations at Menzel Inc and at the 50th Aniversary in 2016 of the companies opening Hans introduced his son Alexander Menzel as the future. Alexander Menzel a 10th Grader is the future of America from German Decent......
