Hi Fashion Loves,

I have gotten a little behind on my blog posts but this is the Adventure to Greenville South Carolina for my Birthday.  I went down to Greenville on Thursday night which is Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive that is the Social Event of the Summer every Thursday until October.  (Weather Permitting).

There is music and dancing.  My plan for this evenings festivities is to do a little flirting and collect a few phone numbers unfortunately I gave them back...
......Better Luck next time.......

I wore my Belk Crown & Ivy Sweater and my Dillards Gianni Bini Shorts.  See Retails biggest rivals can come together to create the perfect outfit.  I did say I was trying to get a few phone numbers so the sexy lace Lauren Lorraine Booties were the optimum choice for the evening.

Greenville South Carolina's Downtown was once, from what I hear, a bad area with abandonded buildings and no people to be seen. Greenville's Downtown was considered uninviting but the County Council and Community Leaders started a plan to revitalize the downtown area.  The plans have changed over the years but the ideas have worked.

The inital plan was to tear down the Reedy River Bridge exposing the Waterfall but with the backlash from the community a new idea was established. The Bridge has become the most recognized feature in Greenville's Downtown while being the favorite of artists and photographers from all over.

There were also plans to tear downtown the Poinsett Hotel but with the oppostion to this idea the Poinsett Hotel has become the most booked up hotel. Housing people from around the world including celebrities.  The Poinsett Hotel also has an offical Shoe Shining area and a Piano Bar to relax while listening to some soothing tunes and drinking a nice adult beverage.

Downtown Greenville South Carolina has become known for Artisphere, its beautiful downtown and something for everyone.  In 2007 I lived downtown at McBee Station which is located under the Church St. Bridge it was the best time of my life.  I would get off work park my car and walk everywhere.  Everyone in my apartment complex was a family it was like we were living in a big house with separate rooms.  There were parties, movie nights and we would eat at a different apartments just about every night.  The gatherings at the pool was the place to be so well known that it was the talk of the local radio station.  The businesses also would let up eat free certain nights calling them Socials.  The businesses also looked out for us giving us rides in their golf carts if we felt unsafe.

A lot has grown in Greenville South Carolina it is recognized by celebrities and Dr.Phil has given away local restaurant tickets on his show.  Greenville South Carolina has  become the place to live and work.

This revitalization has worked great for the economy and there are many singles events as well as family events that occur weekly especailly in the summer.  However with Greenville being the place to be the rent has gone up a lot.  When I lived in Downtown Greenville it was affordable for starving artist but not so much anymore.

Fashion Loves come and visit Downtown Greenville South Carolina you want be disappointed there is plenty to do and see.  Singles get ready there is a mecca of things to explore and not all the phones numbers need to be given back you must pick another successful night out for a little exploring.

Love,
Dana
