Dana's Fashion Faze

The outfit includes: JcPenney -Top Forever21 - Jacket NYandCompany -skirt Dillards -Arturo Chiang Shoes Cato -Necklace My outfits have to be fashionable and Functional.  This day started with a Rainy Day Photo Shoot at my house and ended up at the Historical Ballenger House in Seneca SC .  I am an Artist Renderer and have just started entering shows.  I never new I was that good but I have gotten alot of attention because  I have been told "My Art Has Soul". The Historical Ballenger House is located at 212 East South Third St. Seneca SC and was nice enough to host an Art Show there.  This beautiful home was built in 1925 in the American Foursquare Style by Mr. and Mrs. Grady Woodfin Ballenger. This landmark is located in downtown Seneca SC and is the site of the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor .  Tours are available by appointment.

Cato and Jcpenney are usually my go to stores I can always find a cute outfit or piece of jewelry there. I was so excited to wear one of my spring outfits and then it turned cold. This outfit was taken at a Subdivision in Anderson SC with the most beautiful tree lined streets. Everyone goes there to take Prom pictures at the little lake.  We had a beautiful warm day this day. The last few days have been cold and I had my cute, colorful outfits laid out waiting. The weather however messed up my idea of fashion photos.  However this day I set up my tripod and ran to pose.  My friends laugh at me but I don't always have someone to take my photo. I believe it will be a perfect interview with Vogue or Harper's Bazaar one day.

Photos by Craig Johnson Lake Hartwell is a man made lake boarding Georgia and South Carolina.  I spend alot of time there  my parents have a home there.  Sometimes I sit on the dock and draw which is very relaxing, except during the holidays and weekends in the summer.  There is so much boat traffic I get sea sick.  They also have the most beautiful sunsets.

                                                                           ALL DRESSED IN BLUE I am dressed all in blue but feeling so alive.  I feel so amazing that Spring is here.  I feel so trapped and I am ready to be free.  I enjoy the long days of Sunlight in which I try to stay outside and live it to its fullest.  Today I went to the AnMed Women’s and Children Hospital , where there is a track that I circle around and around and feel so free. I am also totally inspired by Music and I was listening to the song Glory from the Movie Selma .  The song is so inspiring; it fits everyone who feels oppressed whether it is trapped in an uninspiring job or the awful realization that after all this time we as Humans still let racism exist.  The world is hard enough we need to stick together and support one another.  There are criminals out there we need to protect ourselves against and we need help from all of our fellow man.  I hope the world turns around retail it a tough

I am not much of a night person but it is very mysterious to me, it seems an injury hurts worse at night and that is when Ghosts appear.  I have never seen a Ghost but I don’t believe they would appear to me because I would ask them questions and treat them as a new friend. A few years ago I had poison sumac (which is a version of poison ivy) I use ivy dry to get rid of it, bad idea.  I got something similar to third degree burns all over my body.  At midnight the sores would swell and burn like fire.  That was the worse experience I have ever had.  I  didn't  sleep for like 5 days.  I went to the docto

BACK TO HIGH SCHOOL FASHION On this beautiful sunny day, I decided to take a trip to my high school parking lot.  I went to TL Hanna High School which is now McCants Junior High School .  I was not the most popular kid in high school I was actually a dork.  I  didn't  date much and I had no fashion sense.  I run into individuals i went to school with all the time and they don’t recognize me.  I don’t see that I was that different just I had no idea who I was.  I am still figuring this out today; I just have a little more confidence.  It was such a beautiful day and I was feeling pretty happy.  I love spring time and I am so ready for it to come and stay no more winter weather. If you notice I do random posts since I have started this blog.  The reason is I work retail.  Now is especially hard because someone has quit and someone has surgery.  See I work in Fine Jewelry so we have to go through a background check, which unfortunately not a lot of people can get around.  So if you are in my area and have a good background, contact me.  We are hiring and I need time to work on my new adventures.   I follow the Jetsetbabe and I eventually I would love to have a version of her life style.  I like the luxury part but I also want to go to Southern

HAPPY BERRY FASHION Fashion Loves, This was an Adventure I took to Happy Berry Farms located at the shore of Lake Keowee in Pickens County , which is a part of the Heritage Quilt Trail .  This is a farm to pick your own blackberries, blueberries, muscadines, grapes and figs. The farm is made for you to roam freely and they go by the honor system to pay your finds at an Old Tenant House which was part of a 2600 acre land grant from the King of England.  The farm is especially beautiful on a Fall Day. I took this adventure with Craig Johnson who is a photographer I have met.  He is my mentor and travel partner. I appreciate his willingness to teach me photography.  He is a mentor to many people in the town of Anderson and is proud to offer his services. NY&Co necklace and jeans, Cato Fur Vest and Sweater and Charlotte Russe Boots.....       Swing Fashion Hello Fashion Loves, I love the Daffodils coming up, that means spring is coming soon.  I am definitely an outside woman; I usually stay outside until the sun goes down.  I have a sunbathing chair outside that I tan, draw and everything you can think of in.  I feel like I am wasting the sun if I don't  stay outside.  There is also a swing in my front yard that is for my nephew, which I borrow myself, I swing and  enjoy it like a kid; I never get tired of swinging, it just takes you back to your childhood where things where simpler.   My  Family use to have tons of get togethers which includes camping at the lake and swimming. I use to be a fish; I would love to get an apartment with a pool.  Also around a pool the scenery  isn't  to bad.  I am single...... COME ON SPRING AND SUMMER Love, Dana

Forever 21 Sweater and Fur, Dillards Skirt, Charlotte Russe Shoes, Amazon rings,  JcPenney Necklace and Cato Belt                               Fashionable Old Cars Hello Fashion Loves, Along with everything else I am doing, I am also an amateur photographer.  I love to see what I can do to make my pictures more interesting.  My dad was a mechanic on the side because he loved to tinker with old cars.  My father got rid of most cars but there are a few left.  This Buick was one of them and it seemed to be a great back drop.  My creative side and imagination runs wild, I wonder if the people who owned these cars were adventures like I am.  Did they go on dates with there future loves or I hate to say it, what about a Thelma and Louise movie that turned out a little better than the original.  Keep those imaginations going because the world needs more Creativeness….
