Hi
Fashion Loves,
Summer is still here and I am a constant skirt lover this little beauty is a Cynthia Rowley Skirt from Belk that I thought was so cute.  Cynthia Rowley has nice contemporary brands that can be paired with most anything however today I paired it with my cool Cato Tank.  I got the Cato Tanks in the variety of different colors they offer.  The colors ranges from bright to this white one I am wearing.  The material of these tanks are so comfortable and wash well in the washing machine.  I do put my tanks in a mesh bag so damage is done to them in the machine.

The piece de resistance is these magnificent Steve Madden Heels from TJMaxx with a cute little bow.  These Tiger print heels are similar to the Christian Louboutin Senora 130mm but not as high of a heel and less expensive.  These are one of my favorite pair of shoes.  Are they not fantastic?
Today's Adventure is to the quaint Downtown of Anderson according to Wikipedia downtown was built in the late 19th Century and was listed on The National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Downtown Anderson was the place to be and see with trains running underground dropping off people from all over to shop and eat.  The Belk originally was downtown and was the place to shop.  Anderson had Streetcars running from one end of town to the other with business for everyone but like most towns a concrete box called a Mall was built and the Downtown Area started to die.
Everyone wanted to be at the other end of town other concrete boxes were built and the downtown almost succumb to crime and deterioration until a few years ago when residences started to work together to recreate the downtown area.  The beginning was a large parking garage but failed then the new Chiquola Hotel which was also a fail and then Wren Park which has turned everything around.  The parking garage is still not used a lot but The Chiquola Hotel is now Condos and restaurants are starting to survive, Art Museums are the place to be  and the once empty downtown is on the move again.

However the revitalization of the downtown has caused the Concrete Malls to die which I wish they would turn into outdoor malls like most dying malls around the world has done but I know it takes money.  I also found out from a city official that The Quaint Downtown and the Concrete Downtown are basically two separate places that don't  work together. (they are at the most 5 minutes apart.)
So lets work together people lets extend downtown with cute buildings and not concrete uninterested boxes with no History.

Welcome to Anderson South Carolina where dreams come true this can be a reality if people work together and not for ourselves......
Love,
Dana
